Hope everyone in Pheasey had a great Xmas and New Year and from going down the Cat it appeared many enjoyed themselves.
It has been a great start to the year for Beacon Church Reverend David Weller, £1000 from the BBC show pointless. I came home from work today 10 minutes from the end and turned it on and thought I recognised the voice and there was David !
He won the competition by getting a pointless answer by saying that Coventry City football ground was one of the Olympic venues and no one else said that !! However to be honest David the answer was wrong, it is called the Ricoh arena !!
David has commented on his win by saying
Rev David says the £500 (we had to share our winnings) won`t be chnaging his life right now, but recording the show was a lot of fun. What next? The Million Pound Drop if I can persuade my wife…….
